How does Remindbnb know when my guests check in and out?
You connect your Airbnb or VRBO calendar using the iCal link (the same link you'd use to sync to Google Calendar). Remindbnb reads check-in and check-out times from that calendar and sends reminders based on the timing you choose.
Does Remindbnb need access to my Airbnb account?
No. Remindbnb only uses your public iCal calendar link. It never asks for your Airbnb or VRBO login, and it can't make changes to your listings or reservations.
Do I need a smart home system?
No. Remindbnb just sends you a notification. What you do with it is up to you—whether that's adjusting a thermostat manually, texting your cleaner, or flipping a light switch.
What kind of reminders can I set?
Any reminder tied to check-in or check-out times. Common examples: turn heat up/down, confirm cleaner, check exterior lights, send welcome message, mid-stay check-in, follow up after check-out. You control the timing and the message.
Can I use this for multiple properties?
Yes. You can connect multiple calendars and set different reminders for each property.
